ݮ is Recognized as a 2022 Best Workplace™ in Canada

Toronto, ON - April 28, 2022 - ݮ is proud to announce that the company has been recognized as one of the Best WorkplacesTM in Canada. The 2022 Best WorkplacesTM in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process to be ranked on this list is employee driven and represents multiple industries and sizes of organizations. 75% of each organization’s score is based on confidential employee feedback, from the globally recognized Trust Index® Survey. The remaining 25% percent is based on quality, quantity and effectiveness of the programs and policies which support their employees and corporate culture.

  • Monthly In-Person Socials & Virtual Happy Hours (Ex. Annual Holiday Party, Karaoke, Blue Jays Game, Virtual Casino Night, Virtual Murder Mystery, Toronto Scavenger Hunt);
  • Lunch and Learns on topics such as indigenous learning, mental health, food insecurity, etc.;
  • Social Committee, Outreach Committee, and Wellness Community that are made of employees and meet regularly to plan company wide events;
  • Creating space for the team to engage with learning and community support initiatives like Truth and Reconciliation Week, Food-bank donation challenge etc.;
  • Parental Leave Policy and Top-up Benefit that provides new parents (birth parents, guardianship, surrogates and/or adoptive parents with the support that they need. ݮ provides a parental leave top-up of 50% of the employee’s base salary for up to 6 months of their parental leave;
  • Professional Allowance Fund to provide employees with the opportunity to invest in tools, resources or career-related experiences that will improve their effectiveness in their role at the Company;
  • Flexible Work Arrangement and Hybrid Work Policy; and
  • Education Fund provides employees with an application-based fund where the company will subsidize up to 75% of the total cost of the course/certificate.
